 Capitalism and Communism

Capitalism is every man for themselve and all the money that they made they kept for themselves and do not go to people who have no money to make everyone equal. This is the reason why the Cold war started because the USA wanted to stop communism from spreading and people sharing out htere money.

Communism is mostly associated with the USSR because they believe that if they make money or a profit it should be shared out equally to makr it an equal nation which is why America invaded because they didnt want communism to spread and the USSR to become powerful and become a bigger power than the USA.

The Cold war was a war which never had a winning team because a cold war is a war which is a stalemate. A hot war is a war that has a clar winner. The USA ended up withdrawing from the coldwar because of the stalemate.

The domino effect is where if Russia are a communist country then other countries will follow along causing the domino effect which will make russia the major power in the world which the USA did not want to happen. The USA were scared of the world becoming communist because Russia were a big power already and had the biggest country in the world.

Hitler came to power when Germany was in depression after wall street crash and Germany was because they had to pay back there money after the great war. So once all this happened Hitler promised to help Germany to be a big power again.

Because he promised to get everyone in the country a job and to make germany big and powerful which is what they wanted.

It helped them get support because he made the german public believe what he was saying and that this was the problem

He offered something forall german society because he offered everyone jobs which he did give everyone jobs

Because they believed it was no germanys fault alone that they caused the war

Nazi believed it was Jews fault people had no money. This was not right but he led peole to belive him

Manchurian Crisis

Manchuria was a section of land between the soviet union and china. It was mostly owned by China but some of it was owned by Japan and part of this was a railway. In 1931a section of the manchurian railway was claimed by the JApanese to have been blown up so Japan innvaded China because they accused China of blowing up there railway. The league of nations were suppost to control problems like this but they were to slow to react . It took a full year to produce a report on this. This was a good excuse for japanese to invade china . The Japanese admired the British for what they had done in other parts of the world and they wanted to do this in asia so they invaded China to get more land for there empire. They wanted to do this for another reason to get cheap raw materials for there country. These included silk and other materials. At this time the world was in a depression after the wall street crash. Japan was not as badly effected as the other countries so they saw this as there perfect time to start to build their empire. They didnt just stop after capturing Manchuria they then continued there rampage capturing some of China. These parts included Shanghai

When the league came to their verdict they ordered Japan to pull out of Manchuria and instead of following the leagus orders they just went against this and pulled out of the league. The report they came up with was called the lytton report. This was produced by lord lytton who was appointed by the league of nations to carry out the survey on the manchurian crisis.

This shows that the wall street crash of 1929 effected all the world not just the USA where it happened. This happened because the USA raised taxes on everything coming into the country so other countries could not afford to do this. Also they stopped loaning mooney to other countries so they went bust aswell. The great depression stopped the goodwill which the league of nations depended on. This affected the league very much. However the very treaties that created the league of nations also destroyed it. So the league could not just rely on goodwill to keep it running.
